Restore Full Lamination Cutting by Disabling Cut Center

For full back film that cuts only around the camera area, disable Cut Center on the cutting page and retry the cut.

If the machine cuts only the camera area instead of the full lamination, disable the Cut Center option on the cutting page and try cutting again. This remedy applies especially when cutting full back film templates. With Cut Center enabled, the cutting position may shift incorrectly, causing the machine to complete only the camera-area cut before feeding the material out.

Documented Symptom

The issue appears when the machine cuts around the camera area but does not continue cutting the full lamination. In some cases, the material then exits the machine. This troubleshooting procedure is specifically supported for full back films and full back film templates.

Full back film templates are larger than normal templates. The issue can occur when the material size settings do not match the template, particularly during a full back film cut.

Likely Cause

The documented cause is the Cut Center option being enabled while a full back film template is selected. Because full back film templates are larger, enabling this option may shift the cutting position incorrectly. The resulting cut can be limited to the camera area instead of covering the complete full back film template.

Steps to Correct the Cut

  1. Check the cutting condition: Confirm that you are cutting a full back film template and that the machine is cutting only the camera area.
  2. Disable Cut Center: On the cutting page, turn off the Cut Center option before starting the full back film cut.
  3. Retry the cut: Start the cutting process again with Cut Center disabled.

Expected Result

After Cut Center is disabled, the machine should retry the full back film cut without limiting the operation to the camera area. Verify the result by checking whether the cut continues across the full lamination rather than cutting only the camera section and then feeding the material out.

Keep Cut Center disabled when cutting full back films, as these templates are larger than normal templates and are the documented condition for this corrective action.
