Connect a Non-Canon or Non-Epson Printer Through a PC

Install PrinterServer on a computer, then place the computer, printer, and screen protector cutting machine on the same Wi-Fi or LAN network.

To connect a printer brand other than Canon or Epson to the screen protector cutting machine, install PrinterServer on a computer. Then connect that computer, the printer, and the cutting machine to the same Wi-Fi or LAN environment. After installing the software and arranging the shared network connection, follow the provided video tutorial method to finish the connection setup.

When PrinterServer Is Required

This PC-based procedure applies when you are using a printer brand other than Canon or Epson. The documented example is an HP printer without Wi-Fi. For other printer brands, PrinterServer must be installed on the computer to enable the connection between the printer and the screen protector cutting machine.

The printer must support photo printing because the film material is thicker than regular A4 paper. This requirement applies to the printer selected for use with the cutting machine.

Printer Connection Procedure

Complete the supported actions in this order:

  1. Download and install PrinterServer. On the computer that will be used for the connection, download the PrinterServer software from https://www.mietubl.com/app/Printerserver.rar, and then install it.
  2. Place all three devices on the same network. Connect the computer running PrinterServer, the printer, and the screen protector cutting machine to the same network. They must share the same Wi-Fi or LAN environment.
  3. Complete the connection setup. After PrinterServer is installed and all three devices are on the same network, follow the method shown in the provided video tutorial to finish connecting the printer and cutting machine.

Source Basis

The approved software source for this procedure is the PrinterServer download at https://www.mietubl.com/app/Printerserver.rar. The documented setup uses this software on a computer when connecting a printer brand other than Canon or Epson.

Completion and Documented Limitation

Installing PrinterServer and joining the devices to one network prepares the connection, but these actions do not represent the complete setup by themselves. The final connection method must be completed by following the provided video tutorial after installation. This procedure is specifically documented for other printer brands, including the example of an HP printer without Wi-Fi.
