Restore Settings Access After Logging Out

The settings button appears only while the device is logged in; log in again, or reset the device through the Wi-Fi list if login fails.

The settings button is available only when the device is logged in. To restore it, log in to your account again. If you cannot log in successfully, open the Wi-Fi list and follow the provided device-reset process. After the reset is complete, you should be able to access the settings interface again.

Why the Settings Button Is Missing

The documented symptom occurs after logout: the settings button can no longer be found. This is expected because the button is only available while the device is logged in. Its absence after logout does not, by itself, indicate that the settings interface has been removed.

The appropriate remedy depends on whether you can sign back in successfully. Logging in again is the direct recovery option. Resetting the device applies only when login is unsuccessful.

Steps to Restore Access

  1. Try logging in again. Sign in to your account so the device is logged in. The settings button should then become available.
  2. Use the Wi-Fi list if login fails. If you cannot log in successfully for any reason, open the Wi-Fi list.
  3. Reset the device. From the Wi-Fi list, follow the supplied reset process for the device. The documented guidance does not provide separate written details for the individual reset actions, so only use the provided reset sequence.

Expected Result

After a successful account login, you should be able to find the settings button again. If login is not possible and you complete the device reset instead, the documented expected result is restored access to the settings interface.

Verify the outcome by checking whether the settings interface is accessible. If it is available, the recovery process has produced the expected result.

Which Remedy Applies

Use account login as the first option because the settings button is tied to the device’s logged-in state. Use the reset option only when you cannot log in successfully. No additional troubleshooting or escalation channel is specified for this issue.
